HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!

This week was sweet. I had almost forgotten how good it feels to have a companion who really pushes me. Of course, I have always pushed myself, and I have really learned a lot from my other companions and enjoyed my time with all of them. I just love having a companion that I feel like really pushes me to be my absolute best.

I don´t know how many of you know Ben Niu, but, he is in the same city as me. It´s weird being so close to someone that lived so close to me.

We started teaching a few new investigators. Estela, Jésica, and Elías. Estela and Jésica are friends that are both seperated from their ex-boyfriends that live in the same house with their kids. Elías is 9, the same age as my brother Sam when I left home. Jésica is his mom. We taught the Plan of Salvation because Jésica recently lost her dad, and Estela´s kids lost their grandpa. When we talked about the Spirit World and the Resurrection, Elías started to cry. In that moment, I saw him as if he were Sam, and I felt so much love for the kid. I showed him a picture of Sam and of my parents in my Grandpa Bub´s funeral, and bore my testimony of the Resurrection. I think the kid felt like he wasn´t alone in that moment, and the spirit was really strong and tetified to all of us that one day, we really will be resurrected.

I love helping people. Serving is just the best :).
